Program Description This program works with municipal, commercial, and industrial customers in Connecticut to provide information about the energy usage and cost of buildings and to help building owners and operators:
Lower building energy usage and costs
Lower carbon emissions
Reduce water usage
Improve building occupant experience
Upgrade user’s building energy data analysis methods and technologies
SmartBuildingsCT’s work is focused on implementing systems and solutions that provide better information to decision-makers for investments, operations, and maintenance of buildings. This program supports the EPA’s Portfolio Manager online tool for use by Connecticut’s municipal, commercial & industrial organizations. SmartBuildingsCT has supported 70+ municipalities in Connecticut since 2012.
