Collaborating with Ben Moon at CK Magnet Elementary School, UConn formed the CK Explorer’s Club for 4th and 5th graders. UConn Avery Pt students served as instructional aides along with me and CK teachers. Each week between April and June, the club explored different open spaces in Groton in an afterschool club that introduced students to nature in a nonformal educational setting. More info:
