Adapt CT
Adapt CT is an outreach partnership of Connecticut Sea Grant & The Center for Land Use Education & Research (CLEAR). The website includes information on the Climate Adaptation Academy (CAA), the UConn Climate Corps, Coastal Habitats, and Tools/Resources. The CAA offers workshops on adaptation issues relevant to Connecticut’s communities. Past workshop PowerPoints/videos are available on the website.
The UConn Climate Corps is also described under the UConn Environment Corps. It is a program for undergraduates to learn about adaptation issues in Connecticut, how municipal government works and the needs of communities for climate adaptation. Students can participate in adaptation projects with community partners.
Coastal Habitats provides information on key coastal areas in Connecticut, threats and management options, and a habitat management planning tool.
Tools and Resources provides videos, resources and websites developed by UConn faculty and others related to climate adaptation.
The audience for the website is municipal officials, land trust stewards and other natural resource professionals, landowners and those interested in coastal habitats and climate adaptation
