Community Partners
Collaborating with UConn opens the door to fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and meaningful connections. By partnering with our students and faculty, your organization can build mutually beneficial relationships that strengthen your capacity to achieve your mission and goals. Together, we can create impactful opportunities that not only support your work but also help develop the next generation of civic-minded leaders.
The Office of Outreach and Engagement strives to support non-profits, grassroots organizations, and government agencies interested in connecting with the University of Connecticut. Whether your organization is seeking volunteers or interns, exploring ways to assess and enhance your work, pursuing a research question, or simply hoping to learn more about university resources, we will collaborate with you and do our best to build or strengthen your connection with UConn.
If you’re interested in becoming a partner, have an idea for a project, or would like to learn more, please contact the Office of Outreach and Engagement at engagement@uconn.edu or fill out the Community Partner Interest Form below.

Use the database to learn about ongoing initiatives, identify opportunities to collaborate, connect with people and projects engaged in community work, and share information about your own community-engaged scholarship.
Connecticut Nonprofit Asset Mapping Tool
The Connecticut Nonprofit Asset Mapping Tool is an interactive digital resource that highlights where and how nonprofit organizations are serving communities across the state. Developed by the UConn School of Public Policy with support from the Education Committee of the Connecticut General Assembly, the tool is designed to strengthen collaboration, foster strategic partnerships, and inform data-driven decisions that advance the public good.
